I accept and welcome commissions and custom orders, and have received several. My way of doing this is discussing what the customer has in mind first, be this a variation of something I already have in stock or something totally new, be it pyrography, a carved item or whatever. Next I take into account where the customer is based and whether it would be possible to ship abroad (this may not be possible with very large or long items), then I judge man hours and costs involved and give them a quote and confirm they are happy to continue with the order, allowing for a reasonable margin for production time and dispatch. I have enjoyed working with customers and discussing their specific needs for such orders, so am always more than willing to discuss such requests, be they customised orders or something totally different from what I have on my store.
